1. Can I buy a buy different straps for my watch?
Yes, each style is customizable and the straps can be changed. Mix and match your watch face with different strap colours and styles.
2. Are the watches waterproof?
The Classic watch is 3ATM which means they can only be subjected to light splashes/moisture. However, because the watch has a leather strap, we would not recommend getting it wet at all as it will significantly shorten the lifespan of the strap.
3. Do you have any stockists I can visit to try a SWRV product on?
While SWRV doesn’t have a physical store, we are building our selection of stockists around the country. Please check updates on the website to see where we have supplied new stock to.
4. How do I become a stockist?
If you would like to be considered, please email firstname.lastname@example.org – include a link to your website, other brands carried, pictures of your store and your “wishlist”. We will review your store and respond as soon as we can.
5. What are your delivery charges?
Shipping is free anywhere in South Africa to all major towns and cities which we deem accessible by our preferred courier service. If you do not live in a major city, you may get in touch with us on email@example.com to discuss additional delivery fees to ensure you get your desired time piece
6. When can I expect my order to arrive?
We strive to process all orders within 1 – 2 days of ordering from our Cape Town studio using the DHL delivery service. You will be required to sign for your parcel upon delivery. If there is no one available to sign for your parcel upon delivery it will be left at the nearest post office for you to collect. DHL will never leave the parcel unattended. We recommend providing an address where someone will be available to sign between 9am-6pm Mon-Fri.
Please note if you order on the weekend, your order will be shipped the following business day.
7. Can I pick up my order, or drop of my exchange or warranty claim from your office?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer a pickup service, regardless of whether you live locally.
8. HELP! I need to change the address my order is being shipped to.
Please email us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject title “CHANGE OF ADDRESS”. Please provide your invoice number, and the new address. We will do our best to make the amendments before your order is dispatched.
9. How do I make a warranty claim on my watch?
We stand behind the products we create. If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, we apologise, please contact us so we can make it right at email@example.com and provide your order number with photos of the suspected issue.
Please note returns are only accepted for items purchased directly from The Horse website.
Warranty claims require a proof of purchase, including watches that have been gifted.
Once we have received your claim, if the covered component proves to be defective in material or craftsmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or the watch will be replaced free of repair charges. You will be notified via email from us, and your working watch will be sent out via express DHL post with full tracking. We aim to process your claim within the week of receiving it.
10. How long is the warranty period?
Our warranty covers your watch for 1 year.
11. What is covered by warranty?
During the warranty period, the watch movement, hands, and dial are the only components covered under this warranty. This means that if the materials in your watch aren’t right or if the watch isn’t put together correctly, we’ll repair or replace it.
The warranty doesn’t cover:
Damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents including scratching, bouncing, falling, or normal wear and tear.
Defects of internal or external components due to contact with water or moisture. The watches are 3ATM which means they can only be subjected to light splashes/moisture. We would advise against wearing the watch during activities such as showering and swimming, during which the watch can be exposed to more than minor splashes.
The warranty will be voided in the case a third party performed repair works or other works on the watch without first contacting The Horse and obtaining approval.
